Dramarama
Dramarama may be the name of a children's anthology show broadcast on ITV between 1989 and 1983. It tended to comprise play of supernatural bent or a science fiction. The show was created by Anna Home, then head of children's and youth programming in TVS production responsibilities were broken up amongst the majority of the regional ITV franchise holders. Each episode was in practice a one-off production having its own cast and crewupto the executive producer.
Dramarama has been a launch pad to the likes of David Tennant, Paul Abbott, Kay Mellor, Janice Hally, Tony Kearney, Anthony Horowitz and Annmarie Di Mambro and was a location for new ability to prove themselves. This had been one of Dennis Spooner credits.
One of Dramarama's episodes, including"Dodger, Bonzo And The Rush", gained so much popularity it turned out into its own show the next calendar year. It starred Lee Ross and has been based around a nurture house that was large. The episode"Blackbird Singing In The Dead of Night" was developed by Granada in to the Tv-series Kids's Ward. It was repeated during the 30th anniversary old-skool Weekend of CITV on 5 January 2013, for the very first time since its initial broadcast. The Series7 episode"Back To Front" -- noteworthy for featuring a mirror image of the Yorkshire Television logo card by the ending -- has been replicated about 6 January 2013, again as a portion of CITV's 30th anniversary old-skool Weekend.
