The Chessplayer

At 1934 Diego Padilla wins Chess' Spanish Championship and Matches Marianne Latour, a journalist, and they fall in love. At the end of the Civil War, Marianne convinces Diego to live using their daughter, at which shortly after Diego will likely undoubtedly be accused of spying by the Nazis and imprisoned in a SS prison. In prison, Diego will try to live because of the passion for baseball of Colonel Maier in a hostile environment.
