Atlantics

A futuristic tower towers over a Dakar suburb along the Atlantic coast, set to be inaugurated soon. Ada, a 17-year-old student, is head over heels in love with Souleiman, a young construction worker. However, she has made a vow to another man. Souleiman and his coworkers board a ship and depart the country one night, hoping for a better future. A fire wrecks Ada's wedding some days later, and a mystery disease spreads. Ada is completely unaware that Souleiman has returned.
