Short Circuit
After a robot named Number 5 is zapped by a lightning bolt, the machine starts to presume he is individual and escapes the lab. Hot on his trail is the designer, Newton, that hopes until the military does to get at no 5. Meanwhile, a spunky animal lover mistakes the robot to get an alien and carries him teaching her guest that is brand new regarding life on Earth.
