At War for Love
It's 1943 and World War II is raging in Europe. At Arturo the big apple and Flora the girl of a restaurant owner have been in love, but she actually is promised in marriage. There is a way around this, but Arturo should get permission from her father, who lives in a village in Sicily, in order to marry Flora. Arturo doesn't have some money, hence the only way he could possibly reach Sicily is to enlist at the U.S. Army, which is preparing for a landing on the staircase.
