Splash!
Splash! Is a reality tv series that follows actors as they try to understand the craft of diving. The celebrities play each week before a panel of judges and a live audience in an pool that is diving with all an result each week. Vernon Kay and gabby Logan show the show, whilst Team GB Olympic Bronze Medal winning leader Tom Daley may be your expert mentor into the actors. It is filmed at the Inspire: Luton Sports Village, that is located in Stopsley, Luton. The show premiered on ITV on Saturday 5 January 2013 winning the ratings battle for its 7.15pm-8.15pm slot using an average audience of 5.6 million viewers, a network talk of 23.6%.
Splash was the highest evaluation entertainment set on ITV for five years.
The arrangement for the show originated from the Celebrity Splash! Franchise created at the Netherlands by tv production company Eyeworks, and was broadcast on SBS 6 as Sterren Springen Op Zaterdag. Even a US version, from the Riverside Aquatics Complex at Riverside City College and Pasadena's Rose Bowl Aquatics Focus on ABC television, premiered on 19 beneath the title Splash. The US version features 2012 Olympic 10 m diving winner David Boudia along with American legend Greg Louganis as mates. Celebrity Splash has been also commissioned by the Seven Network in Australia! That may broadcast in 2013.
