Pets

Pets is an adult British puppet sitcom. It was aired on Channel 4 and then ran for two series, the 2nd in 2002, and first being aired in 2001. It was also sold at Australia, MTV from Italy, and the Middle East to Fox. The collection was created and written by Andrew Barclay and Brian West, who had worked together at the Edinburgh Festival, winning an award also on the sketch show We All Know Where You Live. A total of 26 episodes of Pets were also beamed, all approximately 11 minutes long. These were shown at early hours of the afternoon, and as a result, the show was fairly not known, although it did develop a significant cult following. There is a requirement on the web site for kids. Eventually a limited edition DVD was made available to get via the site. In addition to both show, the DVD comprised two unbroadcast episodes, a clip show named"The Annals Of Hamish"along with also a behind-the-scenes special named"The Construction Of Pets". Episodes of Pets are currently available as a podcast downloadable via iTunes. This year, a similar show called Mongrels aired sparking controversy in between both. The casts of characters in those two shows are similar also, while Mongrels'd five although Pets had four chief personalities. Additionally, Mongrels' array of locations is more diverse, whereas Pets is confined to a flat.
