Why Do Fools Fall In Love

At the mid-80s, three women (each having a lawyer ) arrive on the job of New York entertainment manager, Morris Levy. One is the L.A. singer, formerly of the Platters. One really is a thief from Philly. One teaches college in a tiny Georgia town. Each wants years of exemptions due to his estate, and each claims to be the widow of Frankie Lyman, money Levy never shared. During an impending civil offense, flashbacks tell the story of every man's lifetime with Lyman, a boyish, high tech, energetic performer, lost to alcoholism. Slowly, the three wives set their own bond.
